We are excited to announce our attendance at the American Molecular Pathology (AMP) Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona from November 14–16. A few select members of the ABI scientific staff will be joining a large collection of industry innovators and leading minds at this year’s meeting, which features roughly 400 posters and 150 exhibits, as well as the opportunity to interact face-to-face with our customers and colleagues.

Originally founded in 1995, AMP has progressed the study of molecular diagnostics and expanded into a collaborative organization devoted to what has quickly become one of the fastest growing fields in science. AMP is now 2,000 members strong in over 45 countries worldwide and still growing rapidly, striving to bring molecular pathology to the forefront of science, technology, and health advancements. And this year, ABI is proud to join the roster of attendees just in time to present our newest product line.

ABI’s new Quantitated Viral Load Controls are intended for use in nucleic acid extraction and amplification procedures alongside unknown samples to determine extraction efficiency, measure the viral load of unknown samples, and validate, monitor, and troubleshoot various molecular testing procedures. Additionally, these new products are useful in training laboratory personnel, developing and validating new molecular testing methods, and in spiking buffers/media to simulate unknown test samples.

ABI has designed Quantitated Viral Load Controls (QVLC), which contain a known concentration of viral particles, to provide an effective solution for monitoring extraction efficiency and quantifying nucleic acid loss. For a closer look at how Quantitated Viral Load Controls can help your research, see our Application Note published on Biocompare.com.

This innovative, one-of-a-kind product is suitable for multiple stages of molecular testing, enabling users to vastly improve extraction procedures as well as overall assay stability. For more information on our Quantitated Viral Load Controls, visit us on the web at www.abionline.com.
