Dr. Sukhendra Choudhury

Dr. Choudhury joined Advanced Biotechnologies in 1998, and has been providing us with his virology expertise ever since. His career started at the Bengal Veterinary College in Calcutta, India, where he graduated with a B.V.Sc and A.H.  He continued his studies at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, where he received an M.Sc in Medical Microbiology. Dr. Choudhury obtained his Ph.D in Medical Microbiology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India.

To keep himself motivated and on top of his game, Dr. Choudhury likes to perform troubleshooting exercises, as well as develop new methods and assays. What excites him the most about working at ABI is the opportunity to work with many types of infectious disease agents.

In his free time, Dr. Choudhury enjoys relaxing and watching tennis and soccer.
