Product Description: Recombinant HIV-1MN envelope glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 120 kD. The protein was produced using the Baculovirus expression system and purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.

Protein Concentration: [varies by lot] determined by BCA protein assay using BSA standard. Alternative methods for determining protein concentration may give different values.

Presentation: Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS), pH 7.4

Purity: >95% pure as determined by analysis of Coomassie blue stained SDS-PAGE.

Functional Activity: Immunoreactive in ELISA and Western blot using murine monoclonal antibody to HIV-1 gp120.

Recommended Applications: Human T-cell CD4 binding, human T-cell activation, anti-HIV drug screening, and development of diagnostics.
