New Product Release: Rubella Purified Virus, strain HPV77, UV-Inactivated

Rubella virus, strain HPV77, was propagated in Vero cells and was sucrose gradient purified as a whole virus particle antigen. This highly infectious virus preparation was then UV-inactivated to produce antigen for ELISA and other assay formats. The quality control data indicates that antigen is specifically immunoreactive by ELISA after UV-inactivation, using Rubella specific monoclonal antibody. This antigen also performed well with negative and positive Rubella specific human sera panels for IgG and IgM by ELISA.
